Details for the Dairy Cottage

Converted in 2012, this architect-designed delightful hideaway is all on one level and has its own large garden. The large living area (8m x 5m) is open-plan, with a dining area at one end and a well equipped kitchen leading off. There is a lovely log burner, a large roof atrium and wide arched glass doors leading into the gardens. Leading off the lounge is a spacious bedroom, again with hand-made double arched glass doors opening onto private south-facing gardens.Dairy Cottage is flooded with light whatever the weather and the use high quality natural materials throughout - oak floors and hand-made doors, Jerusalem stone in the shower room and a solid wood kitchen - create a calm and peaceful environment for relaxation.

Environmental sustainability was important to us when we designed this conversion, as was the need to stay true to the original building and re-use as much of the original stone and other materials as possible, so the Dairy Cottage has underfloor heating supplied by a wood-pellet boiler to keep it cozy and warm in the winter months.
